YCCS Clean Beach Day

The YCCS Clean Beach Day, organised in collaboration with the One Ocean Foundation, takes place on 8 June each year -  World Oceans Day.

The beach cleaning day represents an occasion in which YCCS actively intervenes on the issue of environmental pollution. The event is open to everyone and aims to spread awareness about the specific issue of safeguarding the marine environment as well as promoting a culture of environmental sustainability.

Club members are involved in the initiative first and foremost, in addition to local institutions such as sailing and diving schools and primary and secondary schools.
