The Italian Championship for Olympic Classes (CICO) concluded yesterday, 6th November, in Formia. The event was organised by the Circolo Nautico Caposele in collaboration with the Italian Sailing Federation. After three days of light winds, rain and a limited number of races held, all the classes were able to complete the required number of races on the final day to make the regatta valid to award national titles.
In the ILCA 7 class, six races were held and Cesare Barabino, an athlete from the Young Azzurra sporting programme, finished in eighth place overall.
Cesare’s next competition will be in Hyères, from 14 to 21 November, for the ILCA 7 European Championship.
