The first edition of the Caribbean Superyacht Regatta & Rendezvous with Loro Piana as title sponsor takes place in the idyllic setting of Virgin Gorda, in the British Virgin Islands. The event brings together some of the world’s most beautiful sail and motor yachts during a four-day event in what is considered a yachting paradise. Organized by the Yacht Club Costa Smeralda and Boat International Media, this event was inaugurated in 2011 and marked the beginning of YCCS activities in Virgin Gorda while the 2012 event is the first to be hosted at the new YCCS Clubhouse, inaugurated in January. The event is open to sailing yachts and motor yachts over 80 feet in length and a packed social programme is scheduled to keep owners, guests and crews busy ashore.
