News regarding COVID-19
Porto Cervo, 9 March 2020. We are all aware of what is happening in Italy and around the world with regard to Coronavirus (COVID-19), a constantly evolving situation that currently sees few cases in Sardinia.
In this regard, the Yacht Club Costa Smeralda is constantly monitoring the directives issued to limit the spread of the outbreak and is implementing them. A Crisis Management Committee has been set up so that each department of the structure can be monitored and operations will be guaranteed in the event of difficulties.
In view of this, YCCS is still considering the date on which to hold the annual press conference and whether to confirm the opening date for the structure, scheduled for 23 April.
The dates of sports and social events scheduled for this 2020 season are confirmed for the moment.
It is possible to stay constantly updated on the effects and consequences that the Coronavirus (COVID-19) may have on the activity of the YCCS through the new dedicated section on the YCCS website which we will update periodically.
YCCS Commodore, Riccardo Bonadeo commented: “In a period of uncertainty and unpredictability at an international level, we remain optimistic and hopeful that this situation can be resolved as soon as possible.”
