Porto Cervo, 3 June 2026. Due to the intensification of the Mistral wind, which has reached 40 knots and above, the Race Committee, chaired by Principal Race Officer Stuart Childerley, has hoisted the AP flag ashore, postponing the start of the approximately 130-mile offshore race until 8 p.m., when the wind is forecast to ease slightly. 

This decision will be subject to change based on evolving wind and sea conditions, which are being monitored continuously. Any further updates will be posted on the Yacht Club Costa Smeralda website and Instagram channel.
