The Loro Piana Giraglia 2025 concluded this weekend with victory in the ORC class going to the Swan 45 Thetis, owned by YCCS member Luca Locatelli. This impressive result was even more significant given the light and variable breezes that put all participants to the test in the 72nd edition of the event, which takes place along the Saint-Tropez-Giraglia-Genoa triangle.

Team YCCS also claimed an excellent result in the waters off Cagliari yesterday, as they won the Invitational Rotary Team Racing Regatta 2025. The event was promoted by the Rotary Club of Cagliari in collaboration with the Società Canottieri Ichnusa and the Municipality of Cagliari. The YCCS team competed against crews from the Royal Thames Yacht Club London, Royal Yacht Squadron, Gamla Stan Saliskap and Circolo dei Canottieri Ichnusa Cagliari. At the conclusion of racing, the team composed of YCCS members Antonio Sodo Migliori, Filippo Molinari, Stefano Liguori and former Young Azzurra athlete Erica Ratti claimed victory ahead of the Royal Thames Yacht Club and Gamla Stan Saliskap.
