YCCS VIRGIN GORDA
Yacht Club Costa Smeralda, Virgin Gorda is the new Caribbean winter base located in the North Sound of the British Virgin Islands. Considered one of the best cruising destinations for sailors, the BVI boasts dependable trade winds and line-of-sight sailing in calm, crystal clear waters set amidst interesting rocky and mountainous landscapes. The North Sound with immediate access to fishing, scuba diving and snorkelling is the nautical playground of the Virgin Island and attracts sailors year round.
The excellent sailing conditions and safe cruising waters make this a singular Caribbean location for the international regattas and events organised and hosted by YCCS. It is an ideal base from which to explore the neighbouring leeward and windward islands.
